covid-19 safety protocols - updated november 2020

Safety Guidelines November 2020
close
  • KSACC will support most clients through telephone and digital support services.
  • To ensure the safety of everyone, in-person counselling and support services will occur on a limited basis. Safety of all is prioritized.
  • KSACC offices will be open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and closed from 12-1 pm for lunch.
  • If you are feeling ill, please contact the office to reschedule your appointment and/or arrange for an alternate means of accessing support (telephone or digital services).
  • Offices and waiting areas will require people to maintain the minimum of 2 meters distance.
  • The waiting areas in the KSACC office are for clients only. Extra support people will be asked to not come into the KSCC office to minimize the number of people accessing the office.
  • Anyone who comes into the office will be asked to use the hand sanitizer provided and complete a health check questionnaire.
  • Masks will be required for ALL clients and staff while in the shared KSACC space.
  • Counselling and support appointments will be staggered to ensure that there are not multiple people waiting in the reception area.
  • The reception desk will be equipped with plexi-glass.
  • Counselling offices may have plexi-glass.
  • Counsellors will be wearing masks.
  • Offices will be cleaned between appointments.
  • Cleaning of high traffic areas and high touch services will be completed regularly.
  • Only the public washrooms are available to clients.
  • Personal contact (including handshakes and hugging) will not be permitted.
  • Hand sanitizers will be available in the counselling office for clients to use at any time.
  • Please contact your counsellor and/or support staff if you have any questions.
