We see you, we hear you, we believe you.
Our work and lives at the Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre take place on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Secwépemc people who have been the traditional caretakers of this beautiful land for time immemorial. We are committed to working toward safety for anyone who has been harmed by historical or ongoing oppression in all of it’s forms.
Adult, Youth & Child Counselling
KSACC provides trauma counselling, support and information to survivors of sexualized violence including historical childhood sexualized abuse, and survivors of partner assault.
Community Based Victim Services
Need support and information to navigate the Criminal Justice System? Community-based victim services can offer emotional support, advocacy, information, referrals, and more. Did you know community-based victim service workers can make third-party (anonymous) police reports on behalf of survivors?

Volunteer with us!
We are always looking for compassionate and supportive volunteers to provide meaningful support to survivors of intimate partner and sexualized violence. KSACC values folks with lived experience or work experience in related fields.
Consent must be clearly given every time people engage in sexual contact. Consent is informed, enthusiastic, freely given, specific, and reversible. You can withdraw consent at any time, it’s okay to change your mind! Consent can never be assumed, it doesn’t matter if someone is your partner or if you’ve had sexual interactions in the past; consent is essential each and every time.
The absence of “NO” never means “YES!”
Consent cannot be obtained through intimidation, pressuring, guilt-tripping, or threats.
A person in an altered state of mind cannot give consent.
We’re here to support you.
